    Perception of stress-related working conditions in hospitals (iCept-study): a comparison between physicians and medical students

    Background: The students' perception of working conditions in hospitals hasn't been subject of research in Germany so far. However the perception plays an important role talking about the sustainability of working conditions. The iCept Study wants to examine the perception of medical students compared to the perception of practicing physicians. Methods: The perception will be investigated with a redesigned questionnaire based upon two established and validated questionnaires. The two samples built for this study (students and physician) will be chosen from members of the labor union Marburger Bund. The iCept-Study is designed as an anonymized online-survey. Discussion: The iCept-Study is thought to be the basis of ongoing further investigations regarding the perception of working conditions in hospitals. The results shall serve the facilitation of improving working conditions

    Labor Market Entry Conditions, Wages and Job Mobility

    Economic conditions at the time of labour market entry can induce wage differentials between workers entering the labour market at different points in time. While the existence and persistence of these entry wage differentials are well documented, little is known about their interaction with employees' mobility behaviour. This paper contributes to this research area by analyzing the interaction between job mobility and entry wage differentials using German administrative data. The results suggest that labour market entrants earning less than the average starting wage are more likely to change jobs, directly from employer to employer as well as indirectly via an unemployment spell. In addition they are more likely to change occupation. Moreover, job mobility tends to reduce the effects of labour market entry conditions, implying that job mobility operates as an adjustment mechanism that mitigates entry wage differentials.     Proposal of the administrative building for ESKO-T firm in Třebíč

    Import 04/07/2011Předmětem bakalářské práce je typologický a architektonický návrh objektu administrativní budovy pro firmu ESKO – T v Třebíči. Zájmové území se nachází v jihovýchodní části města. Důraz je kladen především na funkční dispoziční řešení tvořené kancelářemi zaměstnanců firmy, vrátnicí, zasedací místností a hygienickým zázemím určeným pro zaměstnance třídicí linky. Návrh se nezabývá jen samotným administrativním objektem, ale i napojením na technickou a dopravní infrastrukturu, řešením statické dopravy a ozeleněním nezastavěných ploch v blízkém okolí objektu. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je návrh administrativní budovy, která vhodně doplní stávající zástavbu a především splní ekonomické, dispoziční a provozní požadavky investora. Rozsah bakalářské práce je 36 stran.The goal of this bachelor thesis is typological and architectonical design of the administration building for the ESKO – T company in Třebíč town. The area is located in south-east part of this town. Emphasis is placed mainly on the functional dispositional solution made by offices for company employees, lodge, conference room and sanitary facilities designed for assorting line employees. This project is not deal with administration building only, but also with links to technical and transport infrastructure, statical transport resolution and greening of undeveloped land in the vicinity of the building. The result of this thesis is administration building design which will complete the existing buildings properly and above all realize the economical, dispositional and operational requirements of the investor.
